PERFORMANCE TESTING FOR YOUR SHORT-TERM POWER SOLUTION
You may not plan to hire your generator forever, but that doesn’t mean you should overlook performance testing. Our rental fleet of load banks allow us to test up to 2.5MVA, either on a resistive/reactive test, individually or in multiples to a required specification. This means, whatever the nature of the application, you’ll have peace of mind that your temporary generator will operate as intended.
Working with clients across the south of England from our local bases in Kent and Honiton, all load banks will be delivered with the required phase cables, neutral and earth cables, and integrated with minimal fuss by our team of engineers. Before we get started, a thorough site survey will be conducted to ensure we take the best approach to the installation, for a trouble-free, cost-effective outcome. Once the installation is complete, it’s time for testing, inclusive of a detailed report based on standard data capture measurements or those detailed by our client – everything you need to guarantee your power system is working how it should.

WORKING WITH THE POWER INDUSTRY’S BEST
Our hire fleet comprises primarily Froment units that utilise a Sigma controller for ease of use. Software can be supplied for data capture or, alternatively, we can produce the data capture report whilst testing. The Sigma controller offers simple operation whilst producing detailed data capture to prove any testing.
We also have the ability to install and test high-voltage installations, utilising transformers to achieve the required voltage. The level of data gathered during the load bank test may leave you feeling perplexed. But that’s what we’re here for. We’ll help you understand what the report means in practical terms and recommend any amendments we can make to the system to ensure you’re getting the most from it.
